Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • 5-6 red potatoes cut in cubes

  • 2-3 garlic cloves

  • 3 tablespoons of Ghee

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil

  • A pinch of pepper

  • Salt to taste


  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil.

  2. Add red potatoes and boil until soft about 15-20.

  3. Drain the potatoes and place the potatoes in a large bowl use a potato masher of blender, and mash to desired consistency.

  4. Combine red potatoes with garlic, olive oil, ghee, salt and pepper and place back on the stove. For creamier potatoes, add another tablespoon of olive oil and/or ghee.
